Ansty
The village of
Ansty was the birthplace of Hall and Woodhouse Ltd, a brewery
company that survives to present time. The Ansty brewery was founded in
1777 before being replaced by the present site at Blandford St Mary.
Ansty is north of Cheselbourne and west of Milton
Abbas.
