Came Down and Woods
near Dorchester
A area of countryside between Weymouth and Dorchester. Came Down is most notable for the golf course that has a few barrows next to the holes. The woods are north of the road that goes to Broadmayne. Villages around the area include Bincombe, Whitcombe, Winterborne Came and Winterborne Monkton.
