High West Street
Dorchester
One of the main streets in the
town. The street is home to the old crown courts and cells which are
situated within the Old Shire Hall. The court was the site of the
assizes for four centuries and nowadays it tells the story of the Tolpuddle
Martyrs who were tried in 1834.
