Dorchester
The switching on lights ceremony took
place on the 6th of December. It starts the annual Casterbridge
Christmas Cracker that sees the town adorned with festive stalls, brightly
decorated shops and entertainment. Santa Claus made an appearance in the
procession that included the Dorchester Carnival Band and local children
carrying lanterns.
