St Peter's Church
The presence of scholars is tangible, as a number of them in the 1700s carved their initials on the pair of knights, who solemnly recline on their sides on the chapel's window-sills. It is odd to reflect how these acts of vandalism have in their turn become part of the historic record! ¹
