The Fleet

The Fleet Lagoon stretches for some eight miles and it is
almost entirely cut off from the sea by
Chesil Beach except
where it connects with Portland Harbour underneath the Ferry Bridge.
Villages near to the lagoon include

Herring and Fleet.
