Kingston Russell Stone Circle
near Little Bredy
One of the few stone circles in the county and certainly the largest surviving example. The site consists of 18 recumbent sarsens, and measures 24 metres by 28 metres. It is thought to be of Early Bronze Age. Other megalithic structures in the area used the same kind of stone as found here: Nine Stones, Hampton Stone Circle, Grey Mare and her Colts and the Hellstone.
