Southill
The John Gregory is a modern pub in Weymouth. The first pint was drawn on 1st August 1980 by Mrs Hilda Baldwin. The pub was named after her husband, Mr John Gregory Baldwin, who collapsed and died the year before opening while the pubs was still at its foundation stage.¹ The John Gregory was built on a site specially allocation when the Southill shopping complex was planned.
