Weymouth Beach
The
show has been on Weymouth
Beach since the early 20th century. It has a mix of good visuals,
clever manipulation of the puppets and a good storyline to entertain children
of all ages and of course adults. Frank Edmunds performed the show from
1925 to 1967, while more recently Professor Guy Higgins performed the
show from 1974 to 2003. Professor Mark Poulton has taken up the mantle
and can be seen most days during the summer season on the sand near the
King's
Statue.
