Abbotsbury
A beautiful
picturesque village between Weymouth and Bridport and is famous for the
Swannery which has been present from the
13th century. Protected from Lyme Bay by
Chesil
beach, Abbotsbury is sheltered
to the north by a limestone edge dotted with prehistoric sites, notably Abbotsbury Castle, an Iron Age
